Hawaii, Day 38
This gallery was taken at an overlook in Koko Head Park, right off of Rt. 72. Justin and I decided to take the road less travelled and climb down the rocks to get right into the action, and I don't regret it in the least. The scenery here is absolutely unreal. It defies even imagination. The picture, unfortunately, don't even begin to do it justice. You simply have to take my word that these shots are real and not some Photoshop trickery.
Again, I wanted to capture the power of nature as demonstrated by the waves crashing along the shore as well as the contrast between the brown-grey of the volcanic stone and the deep, rich blue of the water. However, these shots are also trying to convey the beauty of the scenery. Enjoy.
